Kindergarten Readiness Screening & Evaluation
Is your preschooler ready for a successful start to kindergarten?
What is Kindergarten Readiness?
A child’s readiness for school is determined by development in the following areas:
- Motor (jump, cut with scissors, etc.)
- Social/Emotional (separate from parents, calms self down, etc.)
- Language (use sentences, state wants and needs)
- General Knowledge (knows shapes, some letters, etc.)
What SPECIFIC SKILLS does your INDIVIDUAL child need?
What can you do to foster your child’s SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION to kindergarten?
BCS, Inc now offers a comprehensive and individualized screening and evaluation program for children ages 3-5 on their readiness for kindergarten.
Your child will be evaluated by professional staff with state licensing and experience helping young children and families.
The evaluation includes administration of the DIAL-3- a researched and standardized screening tool for five key areas of early development.
You will get a typed report that details your child’s results and offers specific recommendations.
We offer two screening and evaluation packages:
